Biography

William Stewart was born Jan 1866 in Kentucky.

On 1 June 1870, Wm Stewart age 5 was living in Hart County, Kentucky. There post office was in Munfordville. Was living with her parents.[1]

On 1 June 1880, William Stewart, age 15 was living in Cross Roads, Hart, Kentucky with his parents Loury 39 and Malinda F age 36.Was attending school at this time.[2]

On 1 June 1900, William Stewart age 34 was living on Pike Street in Sturgis, Union, Kentucky. The family was living in a rented Farm, he was listed as a farmer but not working for last five months. Was married to Ella for 11 years and living with five children[3].

On 15 April 1910, W S Stewart age 44 was living in a rented home located in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. Was working as a Plaster. Was living with his wife of 22 years and four children Addie age 18, Jessie age 16, Bradley age 14 and Gracie L age 7.[4]

On 1 January 1920, S William Steuart age 53 was living in a rented home located on 1st Street in Vienna, McLean, Kentucky with his wife and daughter. Was working as a House Plasterer.[5]

On 1 April 1930, W L Stewart age 63 was living on a farm located on Palmare Road in Trigg, Kentucky. Was living with his wife Ella age 62.[6]

On 1 April 1940, William Stewart age 75 was living in a home he owned valued at 1300 dollars at 633 Fountain Avenue in Paducah, McCracken, Kentucky. Was living with his wife Ella age 74 and the couple had other forms of income.[7]

He died in 11 Feb 1947 and was buried in Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky at Oak Grove Cemetery in Addition Old, Section A, Lot 6.[8]
