Biography
Mary was born in 1899. She was the daughter of Alfred Stidston and Mary Buttrose. Wedding. Sargent – Stidston. At All Souls' Church, St. Peters, last night a pretty wedding was celebrated by Dean Young between Mary Thelma, third daughter of Mrs. M. Stidston, and the late Mr. Alfred Stidston, of 19 Fifth avenue, St. Peters. and Malcolm, only son of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Sargent, of Darlington. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr. S. C. Stidston… Miss N. Sargent, sister of the bridegroom, was the only bridesmaid… Mr. Tom Merry was best man and Mr. Frank Stidston groomsman. [News, Adelaide, 29 June 1927] She passed away in 1985.
