Carl Stolt was born 26 March 1804. He was the son of soldier Per Stolt and his wife Stina Andersdotter.[1][2]
Carl Stolt was a farm hand in Forssa.[3] From 1823 to 1824 he worked in Örstad in Markim. He came from Odensala and went to Stockholm.[4]
Carl Persson Stålt came to Katarina parish. His employer was fru Lundberg. [5] He left Söder the next year to work in Rinkeby in Spånga.[6]
In 1830 Carl Stålt came from Spånga as a recruit to Svea Livgarde. There his birth parish has been distorted to Estuna (previous record keeper with bad handwriting).[7]
Carl Ståltz may have gone back to Fasterna in 1847.[8] In 1848 former guardsman Carl Stoltz came from Markim to Östra Ryd. He seems to have moved on to Gräsö.[9]
Carl is mentioned in the estate inventory of his brother Anders, a farm owner who died childless in 1864. The whereabouts of Carl were not known at that time.[10]
