Biography

Mary was born in 1832. Mary was active in the Presbyterian-Congregational Church and WCTU in Boise, ID. When pipelines were being installed in Boise, she had crocks of ice water set up for the workmen, so they could drink from them instead of going into saloons for a drink. She passed away in 1909. A public drinking fountain was installed in Boise in her memory.
