Marinda Stone was born in Marlborough, New Hampshire on May 16, 1806. She was the daughter of Shubael Stone and Polly Rogers. ^{[1] [2]}

Marinda Stone and Jefferson Jones of Fairfield, New York were married in Feb 1826. ^[2]

Mr. Jones died and Marinda (Stone) Jones married Joshua Talford of Brooklyn New York. ^[2]

She died in February 1881. ^[2] Possibly in New York.
