Biography
Robert Oliver Stone was born on August 3, 1939, in Black Oak, Arkansas, his father, James Stone, was 20 and his mother, Alberta Guiltner, was 18. He married Verlon Campbell on June 30, 1962, in Poinsett, Arkansas. They had four children during their marriage. He died on December 11, 1998, in Tyronza, Arkansas, at the age of 59, and was buried there.[1]
