Biography

William Charles Stonestreet was born around February, 1870 in Glenville, Schenectady, New York, USA to William Stonestreet and Selina Berry. No birth records can be located at this time.

He lived with his parents in Glenville and nearby Princetown, New York until his marriage.^{[1] [2] [3]}

When he was young, he was called William Stonestreet but once he became an adult, he called himself Charles William Stonestreet.

Charles married Emma E. Edwards on 28 May 1890 in Schenectady County, New York.^[4] They had three children.

They moved often. In 1892, they were living in Schenectady, New York while Charles worked as a teamster.^[5] In 1900, they were living in Glenville where Charles was a milk dealer.^[6] But in 1905 they were living in Colonie, Albany, New York where he was working as a farmer.^[7] In 1910 they were back in Glenville where again he was selling milk.^[8] They were still in Glenville in 1915 but now he was working as a gardener.^[9] In 1920, he was working in a match factory in Glenville.^[10]

Charles Stonestreet died on 12 Sep 1922 in Troy, Renssalaer, New York.^[11] He was buried in the Shady Maple Cemetery in Scotia, Schenectady, New York.^[12] He was 52 years old.
