George Stote was born in New Forest, Hampshire, England.

George was born in 1864 in New Forest, Hampshire, England.[1] He was the son of George Stote and Isabella Purkess.

George was baptised on 13 November 1864 in Lyndhurst, Hampshire, England.[2]

The 1871 England and Wales Census shows George living with his parents and three siblings in Lyndhurst, Hampshire, England.[3] He was six years old.

The 1881 England and Wales Census shows George living with his parents and seven siblings in Pikes Hill, Lyndhurst, Hampshire, England.[4] He was 16 years old and was working as Boots at a Hotel.

The 1901 England and Wales Census shows George living with his brother Henry (known as John) in Noyna Road, Streatham, Surrey, England.[5] He was 36 years old and was working as a Tram Driver. His brother was working as a Tram Conductor.

George passed away in 1943 and was buried on 22 September of that year at Epsom Cemetery in Epsom, Surrey, England.[6] He was 78 years old.
