Biography

Abner Stout, son of Joseph and Martha Reeder Stout, was born 1740 in New Jersey and died 1804 in Washington County, Pa. He emigrated from New Jersey with his brothers, Job I and Joseph Stout to West Virginia. He married Levina Stout, daughter of Jonathan and Hannah Jewell Stout, and about 1790 bought 300 acres of land from his father-in-law in Harrison County, WV. By 1793 he had moved to Washington County, Pa near where his brother Benjamin Stout lived. [1]

They were the parents of:

  3. Aaron,
  4. Jonathan,
  5. Lucinda
