Salvation Grace (Grace) Faith Studd was born on 13 Feb 1889 in North Street, Lungan Fu, Shanxi, China to parents Charles Thomas (CT) Studd and Priscilla Livingstone Stewart, Christian Missionaries. They left China in 1894 and returned to England. She married Lt. Col. Dr. David Campbell Duncan Monro on 20 Nov 1917 in St. Columba, Pont St., Chelsea, London, England. Children: Ian Campbell Studd, David Peter, Infant Betty. She died on 2 Jan 1974 in Porton, Wiltshire, England.
She met her husband when she was a nurse during World War I and cared for him as a patient at Brighton.
