James (Sullivan) Wilson was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)
James Sullivan was born in 1865 in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales. He was the son of James Sullivan and Emma Cramp.

Not long after his brother, William, was born his mother, Emma, was living with a John Joseph Sweet. Her first two children, James (1865) and William (1867), and future children were given the name Sweet.[2][3]
He married Ann Bottomley on 3 February 1888 in Adelaide, South Australia.
In about 1896, he apparently ran away with Mary Ann Best, when she was 19.

A Warrant was issued on 24 February 1897 for deserting his wife in Adeliade.

He passed away in 1926 at Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia.

James was mentioned on a memorial in Broken Hill Cemetery, Broken Hill, Broken Hill City, New South Wales, Australia with a death date of 31 May 1926.[6]
