Biography

1871 - Alice was 3 and the daughter of the head of the household in the UK Census on 2 Apr 1871 at Hawes Side in North Meols, Ormskirk, Lancashire, England^[3]. She was living with her parents, two siblings and a nurse.

1881 - Alice was 14, a scholar and the daughter of the head of the household in the UK Census on 3 Apr 1881 at Westward in North Meols, Ormskirk, Lancashire, England^[4]. She was living with her parents and five siblings.

1891 - Alice was 23, single, a laundress and the daughter of the head of the household in the UK Census on 5 Apr 1891 at Westward, Cambridge Road in North Meols, Lancashire, England^[5]. She was living with her parents and six siblings.

1934 - Alice (Sutch) Rimmer died on 6 Nov 1934 at the age of 67 at 12 Lytham Road in Southport, Lancashire, England. Her death was registered in the 4th qtr in the Southport district^[10]. She was buried alongside her father and was later joined by her husband in St Cuthberts Churchyard, Southport, Metropolitan Borough of Sefton, Merseyside, England^[11]. Her estate passed probate on 8 Dec 1934 in London to Thomas Rimmer, painter, and Esther Aughton (wife of Alfred Edward Aughton) with a value of £939^[12][13].

Research Notes
