Mr. and Mrs. Faske spent the last years in Ledbetter, where they had purchased a small home and had retired. Help against the suffering was sought on several occasions and the doctor in Carmine advised to go to the hospital in Temple for a thorough investigation, which was followed, the message was not very encouraging. The doctors said the illness as already too far advanced to be able to help. The deceased reached the age of 61 years and some months. In addition to the widowed husband, the seven children are mourning her: Wilhelm in Brenham, Ernst in Houston, Frank in Manheim, Otto in Vernon, Albert in Walburg, Heinrich at Serbin, Clara, married to Reinhart, living in Del Valle. One brother, Mr. R. Symmank. Two brothers preceded her in death. A sister, Bertha Müller in Dickerson, Ernestine Fichte in Lincoln. Mr. Symmank of Lincoln, 22 grandchildren and other relatives.
