Biography

Mary was born in 1859 and passed away in 1948. She was born in Poland (or a polish part of Germany) and died in Wisconsin. She is buried in Rhinelander.

There are discrepancies in the spelling of Mary's maiden name. Veronica's notes suggest Szymanski. Daughter Margaret's 1914 marriage has it Smichowski. Daughter Stella's 1929 marriage has it Schmazski. However, the Basia reference makes it clearly Szymański.
