Biography
Marceline Sêrien was born May 24, 1810, in Île-aux-Coudres, Lower Canada, a daughter of Alexis Sêrien and Marie-Modeste Tremblay. [1]
On March 5, 1832, in Saint-Jean-Baptiste-de-L'Isle-Verte, Témiscouata, Québec, Marceline married Benoni Côté, born March 31, 1808, in Kamouraka, Quebec. [2] Children of Marceline and Benoni are:

Benoni Côté was the son of Charles Côté and Rosalie Rose Voisine Desjardins. Benoni died August 10, 1877, at the age of 69 years and is buried in Saint Mary's Cemetery, in Beaverville, Iroquois County, Illinois. [12]
