Joseph Charles Taché was born on 25 March 1850 in Rimouski, and was baptized the same day. He was the son of Joseph Charles Taché and Françoise Lepage.[1] He married Marie Adolphine Léda Drapeau on 9 September 1875 in Ottawa (Basilique Notre-Dame).[2]
