Carrie died before 1870, as she does not appear on the 1870 Census with her family (nor does any child born around 1860, if Carrie was a nickname for another given name). In 1880, the Taft family lived in Triangle, Broome, New York.[1]
Carrie L. Taft died, aged 2 years, 1 month, 17 days. She is buried with her mother and other family at Taft Cemetery, Triangle, Broome, New York. Her grave marker is inscribed “daughter of Amos and Lucy Taft, Died July 17 1862.” [2]
