Biography

Phoebe was born in 1850[1]Greenstead, Essex, England. She is the daughter of Robert Tateham and Mary Tatem.

On the 10th April 1868, Phoebe married Nathan Southgate at St. John the Evangelist, Colchester, Essex, England. Nathan Southgate, 21, bachelor, labourer of St. John's Colchester, son of James Southgate (labourer); and Phoebe Tatham, 18, spinster of St. John's Colchester, daughter of Robert Tatham (labourer). Witnessed by William Wilsher and Emma Wilsher[2]
