Edward, the son Edouard Tetreault and Marie Gagnon was born 10 April 1856, in Natick, Rhode Island, as cited on the 1905 Rhode Island state census.[1] The birth record of son Leander identifies him as Edward Tatro, Jr.[2]
On 26 Aug 1882, he married Adelia Fontaine, daughter of "Andrew and Eduige Fountain," in North Kingstown,Washington,Rhode Island.[3] The couple had 7 known children:
Widowed in June 1899, Edward married Adelle Desjardins, daughter of daughter of Edouard and Angeline Desjardins, on 26 Aug 1899, North Kingstown, Rhode Island.[4] No known children were born to the couple.
Edward died 16 September 1912 in Warwick.[5][6] The Warwick death register states that he was a painter and that he died of heart disease.[7] He is buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Warwick, Rhode Island.[8]
Note: The census record shows Edward married to Adelle, born 1860, and states married 18 years. Edward was married 18 years to his first wife Adelia, 1865-1899. He married Adelle Desjardins (born 1860) two months later, August 1899.
