She was the 3rd daughter of Rev Basil Kirke Taylor and Edith Palmer Tylee.
27 Feb 1884. Tea-Meeting and Entertainment. The tea-meeting and promenade concert organised in aid of a fund to be devoted to effecting necessary repairs to Christ Church was held in the Drill Hall last evening and proved a great success in every way. [Etc] Tables were taken by Mesdames Rotherham and White [etc]; Mesdames Woon and Gray, assisted by the Misses Taylor (2); Mesdames Medley and Welsh, assisted by Misses Medley, Montgomery, Welsh (2) and Wright; Mesdames Tudor and Basil Taylor, assisted by Misses Ethel Tudor, Ethel Taylor, Ethel Martelli and Roberts. She never married and died on 23 August 1930, aged 59. She was buried on 25 August 1930 in the Taylor Family Burial Ground at Heads Road Cemetery, Whanganui.
