William Henry Harrison Taylor was born December 31, 1842 in Pike, Georgia. He was a son of Thomas Creed Taylor and Mary "Polly" Gregory.[1]
By 1860, William is living with his sister Sarah Elizabeth in Cass, Texas.[2]
On May 26, 1861 William enlisted as Private Company D, 1st Regiment Texas Infantry, Confederate States Army in Cass, Texas, United States.[3][4] He was honorably discharge for disability due to being emaciated from sickness.[4]
William married Elizabeth Willis Eppinger on November 21, 1867 in Cass, Texas, United States.[5][6] Together they had eight children:[7][8][9]
On February 3, 1883 William was issued 160 acres of land of on S½NW¼ Aliquots, Section 32 in Polk, Arkansas and N½SW¼ Aliquots, Section 32, Polk, Arkansas.[10]
William Henry Harrison Taylor died on May 22, 1911 in Potter, Polk , Arkansas.[3] He is buried at Gann Cemetery in Potter, Polk, Arkansas, United States.[11]

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:-
That we, W.H. Taylor and Mrs. E.W. Taylor, Potter, Polk County, Arkansas, being of sound mind and memory, do make and publish this our last Will and Testament as follows to-wit:- That the proceeds of the South Half of the North West Fourth (s1/2 NW1/4), and the North Half of the South West Fourth (N1/2, SW1/4) Section 32. Township 2 South, Range 31 West of the 5th Principal Meridan in Polk County, Arkansas, be divided equally among our five, daughters, namely; Bessie Bates, Mary Whitehead, Amma R. Kemp, Roena Stephens and Willie A. Rouse.
That we give and bequeath to each of our sons, namely;-
We do hereby, however, reserve the right and privelege ourselves to dispose of, or to sell the above described real property at any time before the death of either or us, but should we own the above described real estate at our death, we do give, devise and bequeath to the above named Daughters of ours the above described real property.
