Elizabeth Taylor was the daughter of Dr. John Taylor.2 She married Alexander Montgomerie, son of Alexander Montgomerie and Lillias Montgomerie, on 20 October 1784.1 She died on 13 February 1839.1
Her married name became Montgomerie.

She married Alexander Montgomerie at Chandernagore, near Calcutta, (now Chandannagar, West Bengal), India, on 20 October 1784.[1] She was the daughter of Dr. John Taylor of the H.E.I.C. Service, and of Townhead in Lancashire, and Abbotshall, Kendall. She survived Alexander and died on 13 February 1839 at Annick Lodge, and was buried in the Dreghorn Churchyard.[2][3]

Thomas, (twin) b. 23 Jul 1796, bp. 27 Jul 1796; a captain in the East India Company's Bengal Service; d. unmarried Apr 1819 in Calcutta.
Charlotte, (twin) b. 23 Jul 1796, bp 27 Jul 1796; m. Rev. Thomas Proctor 16 Feb 1826. He d. 1836. 2 sons, 1 dau.
Archibald, b. 21 Sep 1799 at Dreghorn; d. 1821 Ceylon; unmarried.
Elizabeth, m. David Boyle of Shewalton, later Lord Justice-General of Scotland, he d. 14 Apr 1822 Edinburgh; 8 children.
Hamilla, m. Alexander West Hamilton of Pinmore 27 Jan 1816;[6] he d. 1837; she d. 1852.[5] 1 son, 7 dau.
Frances, bp. 6 Oct 1801; d. 25 Sep 1858;[3]; unmarried.
