Deceased Name: WILLIAM P. TAYLOR JR.
William P. Billy Taylor Jr., 82, of Taylor Road died Thursday at Auburn Memorial Hospital after a long illness. A native of Elbridge, Mr. Taylor was a life resident of the Sennett area. He retired in 1986 after 65 years as a dairy farmer. His wife, the former Isabel Lackey, died in 1985.
Mr. Taylor was a member of the Sennett Federated Church, the Cayuga County Cooperative Extention, the former Sennett Grange, the Farm Bureau and the Dairymen's League. Mr. Taylor's family settled in Sennett in 1847 on what is now Taylor Road. Surviving are two daughters, Nancy C. Pauls of Skaneateles Falls and Judith B. Taylor of Sennett; three grandchildren; a great-grandson; and three nephews.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home, Elbridge. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Elbridge.
