Colonial Gravestone Inscriptions in the State of New Hampshire, pg 117. This source states his death as the 5th, 11th mo. 1823. He is the third child and eldest son of Joseph Tebbets (Tibbetts) & Sarah (Huckins) Emerson. He married Elizabeth Hussey on 30 Nov 1763 in Dover, NH. They were members of the Society of Friends.
