1860 "Wiley" and his family are living in Ashe County, North Carolina in the South Eastern District. Besides his parents -- Stephen (b. in N. Carolina) and Susan (b. in Virginia) -- there are seven other children: James (10), Jesse (8), Robert (7), Jane (6), Sarah (5), Hariett (3) and Tilman (0).[3]
1920 William and Rosa are living in Helton, North Carolina.[4]
