Biography
Andrew Thally served with New Hanover County Regiment, North Carolina Militia during the American Revolution.
Andrew Thally served in the Revolutionary War from Duplin County, North Carolina. Andrew Thally had Voucher number 3783, brother in Law William Allen had Voucher number 3781 and brother in law Henry Allen had Voucher number 3782. They each were paid 4 Pounds, 5 Schillings and 6 Pence in Payroll number 750. The vouchers were dated 26 February, 1782. Their Commanding Officer was named Captain Anthony. This information is from the North Carolina Treasurers and Comptrollers Papers, Revolutionary Army Accounts from Volume one, Page 56.
