Biography
Floyd Eugene Tharp was born on August 17, 1930, in Tuckerman, Arkansas, his father, Lawrence Tharp, was 23 and his mother, Hazel Whaley, was 25. He married Mary Dorothy Magiera on May 20, 1950, in Wyandotte, Michigan. They had two children during their marriage. He died on November 1, 1980[1], in Beulah, Michigan, at the age of 50.
