Biography
Presley was born in 1799. He was the son of Robert Tharp and Mary Thompson. He passed away in 1850. [1]
However, another source lists his birth year as 1782, which is plausible; his marriage as 1822, also plausible as Cassie was 18; and his death as 1892, which seems really unlikely unless he really was born in 1799. [2]
