Biography
Herman Julius Thiede was born on December 2, 1845 in Germany.
He immigrated to the United States around 1868, settling in Shakopee, Minnesota. He was a Blacksmith by trade.
He married Elizabeth (Reinish) Kopp on October 23, 1871 In Shakopee, Minnesota. They had 6 children.
