Maria Lucia Josephina (Thijssen) Schuurman (abt. 1849 - 1909)

Biography

Maria Lucia Josephina Thijssen, born 9 May 1849^[1], in Voltlage, Duitsland, daughter of Johann Heinrich Ignatz Thijssen and Anna Maria Fisher. She passed away 23 December 1909^[2] in Schiedam, 60 years and 7 months old.

Maria Lucia Josephina married 16 October 1877^[3] in Osnabrück, Duitsland with Wilhelmus Franciscus Schuurman.

Maria came to Woerden after her marriage in 1877 in Osnabrück and was registered there on October 18, 1877. Her husband was confectioner (banketbakker) on the Rijn ZZ # 84 She had her children there and became a widow in 1887. In 1895 she moved to Schiedam^[4]
