   "Mrs Della M Tompkins, forty nine, of River Avenue, died at the Paul Kimball hospital last Friday, following a long illness. Mrs Tompkins is survived by two daughters, Mrs Clifford Cottrell and Miss Emma Tompkins; and two sons, Alvie and William, all of Lakewood. Funeral service was held on Monday afternoon at the Harmony Methodist Episcopal Church, with the Rev J M Hunter, rector of All Saints Episcopal Church officiating. Burial was made in Harmony Cemetery".
