Biography

John Thompson was born about 1835 in Jackson County, Missouri. He was the son of John Kincheloe Thompson and Jerusha Oldham. The family was living in Fort Osage, Jackson, Missouri in 1850.[1]

He may have married a woman named Mary. In 1870, they were living in Jackson County, Missouri.[2] It appears John's maternal grandfather, J Oldham, was living with them.

John died February 5, 1895. Burial was in the Sibley Cemetery in Sibley, Jackson County, Missouri.[3]
