Biography
Ivie was born in 1890. She was the daughter of Tandy Thompson and Elvenia Bulloch. In 1900, the family was living in Ochlockonee town, Thomas County, Georgia.[1]
Ivy married Clarence Irvin Groover on 2 Jan 1910 in Thomas County, Georgia. [2] In 1920, they were living in Ochlocknee, Thomas County, Georgia. They had four children - Roy, Dortha, Evlene, and Frances.[3] They were still in Ochlocknee in 1930, and had added another daughter, Cathleen, to the family.[4] On the 1930 census the children were listed as Ray, Dorathy, Everlyn, Francis and Cathleen.
She passed away in 1969. Burial was in the Ochlocknee City Cemetery in Ochlocknee, Thomas County, Georgia.[5]
