Fanny Thompson was born in Alabama. The dates are very fluid as her age changed little around census data! The 1940 census states her mother is Geneva Barrett. She has a sister named Rosa Lee Harris. Her children are Sadie Lucille, Louise, and Charles.[1] Her mother, Geneva Barrett, died on 5 Jun 1968 in Montgomery, AL[2]

Fanny married Prince Edward Conley, 26 Oct 1911.[3]

Teaching
Fanny Thompson went to school in Jacksonville, AL, to be a teacher. She was going to teach at Prairie Farm School in 1936.[9][10][11] Another news article about her retirement recognizes her as teacher, her son Charles, a lawyer, and her daughter Lois Conley Smith, a teacher.[12][13] Receiving an award from her daughter Mrs. Lois Conley Smith.[14]
Death
Fannie T. Conley died in 1997.[15] Her obituary erroneously stated she was 107 years old. Fannie T. Conley died at age 101.[16]
