Biography

William Thompson is a part of US Black heritage.

William was born about 1879, according to US Census data, although other official documents state that he was born about 1884. He was born in Virginia but probably resided in Rhode Island after he married Gertrude May (Dailey) Thompson. William returned to Virginia sometime after her death and passed away in 1954.
