1830 Birth: Elizabeth was born in 1830. She is the daughter of William Thorlby and Parthenea Flint.

1830 Baptism: Elizabeth was baptised at St Peter and St Paul's in Algakirk. The register notes the father is William Thurlby, labourer. [1] ^[1]

Hannah was first married to Henry Tawlks with whom she had two children, this could be a second marriage for Henry as the 1851 census shows he was 52 to her 20. He was a cordwainer from Bicker.

In the 1851 census Hannah (age 20) was the wife of Henry Tawlks in Bicker, Lincolnshire, England.^[2]

In 1861 Hannah was a widow aged 30 with two young daughters, Edward Sandall a Yeoman bachelor aged 60 was her lodger. The household lived in Bicker. The address is described as Centre of Village In the 1861 census Hannah (age 30) was the head of household in Bicker, Lincolnshire, England.^[3]

Hannah's marriage was registered in the Jan-Feb-Mar quarter of 1862 in the Boston district.^[4]

Hannah was widowed a second time in 1874.

In the 1891 census Hannah (age 60) was the head of household in Doncaster, Yorkshire, England. She lived with her son Zachariah and a servant. There was a visitoer Florence M Cooper on the night of the census, ^[6]

Elizabeth's death (age 63) was registered in the Jan-Feb-Mar quarter of 1894 in the Doncaster district.^[7]
