Biography

Marquis De Lafayette "M.D." Tidwell was born January 10, 1861 to John Tidwell and Elizabeth Underhill in Williamson County, Tennessee.^[1]

He married Mary Delilah Spencer on January 13, 1890 in Dickson County, Tennessee.^[2] Their children were:

4. Velma M. Tidwell
5. Gilbert Franklin Tidwell^[5]

He died, at the age of 84, on Ocotber 22, 1945 in Dickson, Tennessee.^[1] He is buried at the Union Cemetery, Dickson, Dickson County, Tennessee.^[6]
