Biography

Roy Donald Tilden was born on January 20th, 1938 in Trail, British Columbia. ^[1]Roy was the son of William Edgar Tilden and Myrtle Gray. He passed away on September 13th, 1996 at U.B.C. Hospital, Vancouver, British Columbia. Roy is buried at Oceanview Burial Park, Burnaby, BC.^[2][3][4]

Roy and his family moved to North Vancouver, B.C. when he was small, and grew up and went to school in the Capilano area. He married his first wife Delores (1959) in Vancouver which he had two children (Duane, and Wendy). The family lived in Vancouver and Edmonton, and then removed to Richmond BC. He then married his second wife Jeannine (1974) in Vancouver which he had a son (Christopher). He worked for more than 30 years at CNCP Telecommunications as a Teletype Technician and then for a few years at Unitel.
