This profile, along with the rest of the pre 1500 Wheeler tree, is pure fiction[1].
Below is the Wheeler pedigree as found online, perhaps inspired by Chronicles of a Nation: Founding Fathers, Families and Patriots, by Joan Wheeler LaGrone. [2] The dubious lineage concerns ancestors of Richard Welere, whose existence appears to be documented. Perhaps the most glaring problem with this genealogy is the anachronic names (especially of women), which seem more appopriate for the 1950s than for medieval women. No sources confirming this genealogy were put forward.
Not all the descendants beyond Richard Welere should be assumed to be correct. The line of descendance until Henry Wheeler is unsourced and may be a compilation of various documented Wheelers without real evidence to connect them.
