Biography
Franklin Tilton was born 12 Sep 1815 in Danville, Caledonia, Vermont.[1] He was the son of Joseph Tilton, Jr. and Sally
Franklin married Laura O Balch 17 Jun 1847 in Littleton, Grafton, New Hampshire.[2]
Franklin resided in Littleton from 1840 until he died. He was a merchant, Republican, Congregationalist, Justice of the Peace, Fire Ward in 1850. Appointed Postmaster 27 Jun 1849. [3]
Death
Franklin died 22 Mar 1867.[4] He is buried in Glenwood Cemetery, Littleton, Grafton, New Hampshire.
