Funeral services are scheduled at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at West Funeral Home Chapel for Henry Tipton, retired farmer, who died yesterday at his home at Grandfalls, Tex.

Dr. W.S. Dando of First Presbyterian Church will officiate at the services, and burial will be in Carlsbad Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Enea Grandi, Alva Williams, Joe Carlton, Warren Weems, Charles Jones and H.H. Hinton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Craft, J.W. Stagner, H.I. Braden, Walter Craft, W.W. Galton, R.L. Holley, Arlie Nichols, Ed Hoose and Dave Geer.

Tipton, born June 10, 1864, in Lamar, Mo., resided at Otis for more than 30 years and at one time was owner of what is now Otis Gin. Since his retirement 12 years ago he has made his home with a son in Grandfalls.

Survivors are one son, Allen, Tipton of Grandfalls; two nieces, Mrs. Pat Hamilton of Santa Fe and Mrs. Helen Daley of Carlsbad; one sister-in-law, Mr. W.W. McIlvain of Carlsbad; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
