Thomas was born 1849 to William Tisdell and Catherine Scott. He died in 1935 and is buried in the Coopernook Cemetery, New South Wales.[1]
MR. THOMAS HENRY TISDELL. Mr. Thomas Henry Tlsdell, a well-known resident of the Coopernook district all his life, died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. E. R. Evenden, Langley Vale, on Sunday, at the age of 86 years. Death was due to cerebral hemorrhage. Deceased first came to the Lower Manning, Moto Estate, as manager for the late Mr. Henry Flett. He followed dairying pursuits practically all his life. He also worked in a sawmill as sawyer, etc. He saw the building of the old wooden bridge at Coopernook and also the present concrete bridge. He was married at Cundle to Miss Elizabeth Bulmer. His wife predeceased him two and a half years ago. A family of three sons and four daughters survive. The sons are Messrs. William (Sydney), [[Tisdell-37 |George (Coopernook)]] and Thomas Henry Tisdell (Broadwater, Richmond River) ; whilst the daughters are Mesdames E. R. Evenden (Langley Vale), T. Crossingham (Coopernook), W. Foster (Wauchope) and P. G. Warren (Lansdowne). One son, Charles James, was killed in action, and another, Frank, died in infancy. Deceased daughters were Mesdames Elliott (Sydney), Bourke (Coopernook) and McCormick (Sydney). The mortal remains were interred beside those of his late wife at Coopernook on Monday. Rev. B. V. Davis officiated. Mr. W. T. Howard was the undertaker.[2]
