Biography

Minnie (Todd) Gee is a part of US Black heritage.

Minnie was born about 1860. She married James Ambrose Gee (1860-) They had three children, the middle daughter dying in infancy. In the Columbus, Ohio business directory for 1889-90, she is listed as a domestic servant at 1152 Toronto. This would have been after she married, and after her first daughter was born. It's possible that there were two Minnie Todds in the area, but it seems like not that common a name, and perhaps he didn't change her name right after getting married. There was also a Minnie Todd listed as a domestic servant for the same time in Springfield, Ohio, at 97 Mulberry.

She passed away in 1909.
