Vilona's name is spelled variously as Philena, Vilina, Valona, etc. She married Marvin Marcy. The 1850 Census shows her three children living with her parents, Seth and Sylinda Tolman. [1] Vilona and Marvin were living in Boston at the time.[2]
In 1860, her three children are living with her and her husband Marvin in Craftsbury, Vermont. In 1870, only Vilona and Marvin are listed in their household.
The 1880 Census for Craftsbury, VT, shows Vilona as the widowed head of household. Living with her are son-in-law Abner Powers, age 59 and widowed, and his daughter Ida, age 9.[3]
