Rhoda was born in 1906. She was the daughter of Alexander Tower and Zillah Ward. She worked as a cashier at Eaton's in Moncton. She married Gordon Arthur Trites in February 1930[1] and passed away less than a month later.[2] The family group sheet maintained by Hap Ward says Rhoda Tower died on her honeymoon. She was married on February 15 and died on March 11. Her death record says she contracted peritonitis in Petitcodiac on March 4, so if it was not exactly on her honeymoon, it was certainly near it. The record notes that her death was caused by peritonitis following miscarriage at 5 months.
