Grace was born in Keene, New Hampshire, in 1895 to Burton E Towne and Hattie C Cota Towne.[1]
Marriage & Family
Arthur married Grace May Towne, daughter of Burton E Towne, and his wife, Julia Harriet Cote Towne, of Keene, on the 22nd of June in 1917 in Keene, New Hampshire.[2] The Rev, F.A. Leach officiated at their marriage. The couple lived in Gilsum. They never had any children.
Examination of the 1920 Census for Keene, New Hampshire, shows that both she and Arthur were living in Keene and were workers in a Mica mill.[3] Their home was near 391 Washington Street.
By 1930, Grace was now a homemaker and Arthur was working at a factory in Keene that made chairs.[4]
Death & Burial
Arthur died at home in 1978 in Marlborough, New Hampshire, at the age of 81.
She passed away in 1982 and was buried next to Arthur, in the Woodland Cemetery in Keene, New Hampshire.[5]
