It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Ella by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.

Thanks for posting this! When I try to view the Louise Simpson youtube video it says "This video is private." I recall being able to view it a few years ago though, so maybe youtube changed something. Could you please check the access settings? (maybe verify by viewing it from an incognito browser window)
