Ann was born in 1820. She was a daughter of Andrew Traill and Mary King Padner.
Life Sketch: Ann Traill departed London, England with her husband Thomas Jones and her four surviving children on the sailing ship 'Bombay' on 26 November 1864. They arrived at Auckland, New Zealand on 18 March 1865. They settled south of Auckland in a district later named Bombay, as many of the settlers had arrived in New Zealand on the sailing ship named 'Bombay'.
She passed away in 1868.
