obituary

The funeral of William M. Treffinger, 59, well known Muncie florist and landscape gardener, who died at Ball Memorial Hospital at 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon, will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Hillyer H. Straton officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery.

The death of Mr. Treffinger, who resided at 1001 South Madison street, followed a ten weeks' illness. The body was removed to the Meeks mortuary and will be taken to the home at noon today. Friends are asked to call at the home as the casket will not be opened at the church.

Mr. Treffinger was a member of the First Baptist Church.

He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Rose Treffinger; one daughter, Ruth Treffinger, at home; a son, Karl Treffinger, at home; and two brothers, Edward Treffinger of Richmond and Charles Treffinger of San Diego, Cal.
