Freeman Harvey Trefry was born circa 1849, the son of Freeman Trefry and Keziah Marr of Brighton, St. Mary's Bay, Digby, Nova Scotia[1][2]
On November 13, 1873, he married Rosalie Deveau, of Brighton[3] (Note his parents are clearly indicated on the marriage cert).
Rosalie (Deveau) Trefry died on March 9, 1876[4] (note the maiden name Deveau is clearly indicated on the death cert). There is no record of children.
The 1881 Census[5] shows Freeman, a widower living with his parents.
On March 25, 1882, he married Anna[1], and they had a child named Guive S Trefry[1][6]
Note: he is the same age as Freeman Trefry of Springhaven, who married Arabella Curry, and who died Dec 27, 1918 (with a FAG memorial). These are two different men, second cousins, with different parents in different towns. They both appear in the 1871 Census at this time also.
